As Finance & Admin Intern, you are passionate about ensuring administrative and finance records are clean and put together, and can work collaboratively with other team members. You will support bookkeeping and financial administration activities for projects and business operations.
You will also liaise with vendors, artisans, suppliers, clients and the design team on finance-related tasks.
Job Description:
Coordinate bookkeeping activities for projects and business operations including preparation of quotations and invoices.
Liaise with and get quotes from vendors, artisans, suppliers on design elements needed.
Support finance-related communication with clients, contractors and design team.
Send email/message to client on purchase update; arrival of items from shipment locations and delivery of items to site/warehouse.
Work with project supervisor to get design item/service samples from vendors, suppliers or artisans.
Work with design assistant and project supervisor to source specified items and artisan services and place orders.
Disburse funds for project purchases or service payments.
Confirm and carry out quality checks on delivered items.
Coordinate returns-related communication with vendor/supplier.
Supervise delivery of design items to warehouse or project site.
