Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):

•  Supervise or execute fuel pipework interface to the dispensing island. 
• Connect product lines and vapour recovery systems in accordance with approved drawings and specifications. 
• Install, route, align, joint, and fit fuel and related pipework. 
• Perform pressure testing, leak testing, flushing, and inspection of pipework as required. 
• Identify and rectify leaks, faulty connections, alignment issues, and other piping defects. 
• Coordinate with the station MEP contractor to ensure proper integration of fuel piping with other mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. 
• Interpret and work from technical drawings, piping layouts, specifications, and installation plans. 
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover of fuel piping systems. 
• Report technical challenges, defects, material requirements, and safety concerns to the Operations Manager/Site Supervisor. 
• Maintain accurate records of pipework installation, testing, modifications, and inspection activities. 
• Document and update pipework as-built information to reflect the final installation. 
• Ensure proper use, handling, and maintenance of tools, equipment, fittings, and materials. 
• Work collaboratively with other technicians, contractors, and site personnel to ensure timely completion of projects. 
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Operations Manager/Site Supervisor. 

Requirement:

•  B.Sc./B.A., HND, or OND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 
• 5–8 years of relevant experience as an Accountant. 
• Solid experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, accounts receivable/payable, and bank reconciliation. 
• Experience using accounting software and financial management systems. 
• ICAN/ACCA certification or relevant professional qualification is an advantage. 
• Experience in the Oil & Gas, downstream petroleum, or related industry is an advantage.
