The Field Verification Officer will be responsible for conducting on-site verification of merchants and loan applicants, confirming business locations, and ensuring accuracy of information provided during the loan application process.
The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, observant, and comfortable working extensively in the field.
They will investigate discrepancies, prepare accurate verification reports, liaise with internal teams to support credit decisions, and ensure all verification activities are carried out in line with the Bank’s policies and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct physical visits to verify merchant and customer locations
Confirm authenticity of business operations and provided information
Document findings and submit accurate verification reports
Support loan processing by ensuring verification timelines are met
Escalate discrepancies or suspicious findings
Requirements
Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc
1-2 years experience in field verification, recovery, or direct sales in a fintech or commercial bank
Must reside in Ondo ( Odigbo LGA)
Must be willing to work in the field
Good communication and observation skills
Ability to follow instructions and submit accurate reports.
