Field Service Engineer (Electrical Project Implementation) at Difference Maker Solutions Ltd.

Job Description

We are looking to hire skilled and experienced Field Service Engineers (FSE) for effective and pro-active implementation of projects.

Responsibilities

• Installation of electrical power equipment, including generators, inverters and rectifiers.
• Design and installation of information technology (IT) infrastructures.
• Design and installation of renewable (solar/wind) energy systems.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance when due.
• Quickly respond to and resolve issues escalated on projects.
• Timely respond to call (in line with MTTR policy).
• Ensure JCC are signed-off for all assigned jobs.
• Prepare all reports necessary for closure of assigned jobs, without delay. 
• Ensure records of all project related document are taken and passed to the appropriate service manager.
• Communicate field issues to the project manager and other project stakeholders.
• Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Research new solutions and update to existing solutions.
• Observing quality, health and safety environment policies and standards for all work.

MIN REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

2 year(s)

QUALIFICATION:

Higher National Diploma

DESIRED COURSES:

Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications

• Hands–on experience as a Field Engineer in the Power and/or Telecom industry.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision without fault.
• At-least have intermediate knowledge level usage of MS-Office applications.
• Willingness to travel anywhere and at any time required, within Nigeria.
• Project management skills and ability to use engineering software are added advantage.
