Responsibilities
The Field Procurement Officer is responsible for overseeing procurement activities in the field, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services to support operational needs. This role requires a minimum of two years of experience in procurement, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Procurement Planning: Develop procurement plans based on project requirements, budget constraints, and delivery timelines.
• Sourcing Suppliers: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct market research, and establish relationships with reliable vendors.
• Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable terms and achieve cost savings.
• Supplier Management: Maintain communication with suppliers to address issues, monitor performance, and resolve disputes in a timely manner.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations, including adherence to ethical standards and legal requirements.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the procurement process and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.

Qualifications

• OND
• Minimum of two years of experience in procurement, Must be street smart preferably in a field-based role.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with suppliers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices, regulations, and compliance standards.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
