Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily operational activities in line with established safety, health, environmental, and security requirements.
• Participate actively in toolbox talks and regular safety meetings.
• Conduct continuous surveillance of wells and equipment to identify corrective and optimization opportunities and maintain safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
• Perform basic equipment care and simple maintenance activities as required.
• Report any situation where alarms, emergency systems, or emergency shutdown systems are out of service.
• Provide accurate shift handover information to ensure continuity of operations and awareness of current unit conditions.
• Coordinate, monitor, and control maintenance activities in line with corrective, predictive, and preventive maintenance plans.
• Maintain accurate logbook records of operational events, abnormal situations, equipment conditions, and other relevant activities.
• Collect product samples for laboratory analysis and perform applicable field laboratory tests.
• Participate actively in emergency response activities and report incidents in accordance with established reporting guidelines.
• Keep the Operations Shift Supervisor informed of relevant operational activities, issues, and developments.
• Maintain effective communication across the work team to ensure operational issues and required actions are promptly addressed.
• Provide accurate information on well performance, production rates, and current well conditions.
• Support thorough diagnosis of well production problems before Well Work intervention activities are initiated.
• Ensure wellheads and surface equipment are maintained in good working condition before Well Work teams assume responsibility for intervention activities.
• Provide operational support and assistance during ongoing Well Work activities as required.

Requirements

• Completed secondary education with previous experience as a Field Technician.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Strong commitment to Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) standards and the ability to promote safe practices within the team.
• Understanding of pipeline operations.
• Understanding of safety and operations management tools and processes.
• Understanding of Emergency Preparedness Procedures.
• Understanding of project philosophy and design specifications.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and applicable commercial agreements.
