Fiber Optics Engineer at Internet Solutions

• We are seeking a skilled and proactive Fiber Optic Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fiber optic networks. This includes planning fiber routes, splicing, testing, and ensuring optimal network performance. The role requires technical expertise in fiber optic technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Job Responsibilities 

• Design and implement fiber optic communication systems
• Perform system upgrades, repairs, and maintenance
• Conduct site surveys to assess client needs and requirements
• Prepare detailed project documentation and reports
• Work with project managers, vendors, and other team members to ensure successful project completion
• Stay up to date with industry advancements and new technologies
• Provide technical support and training to clients and team members

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in fiber optic design and implementation
• Strong understanding of fiber optic technologies and transmission systems
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management and time management skills
