Fiber Optic Engineer
- Job Type Full Time
- Qualification BA/BSc/HND
- Experience 2 - 3 years
- Location Lagos
- Job Field Engineering / Technical
- Salary Range ₦100,000 - ₦150,000/month
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up fiber optic telecommunication and data network.
- Lay underground and underfloor fiber optic cabling
- Test systems, find and fix any faults
- Design, build and test fiber optic equipment
- Communicating with clients or contractors about project status
- Liase with customers in person, on phone or online
- Maintain detailed report of each job
- Working outdoors in all weather
- Conducting feasibility studies for new projects
Requirement:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or a related field
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong understanding of fiber optic technologies and transmission system
- Ability to work independently and with team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
