Fashion / Retail Sales Executive at Owens and Xley

Job Description

• The retail sales executive will be the first line of contact for walk-in customers to the store, making them feel welcome and assisting them in finding the products that most satisfy their needs.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Welcome and serve customers providing an excellent in-store experience at all times
• Guide customers by ushering them to appropriate sections in the store based on their needs and interests
• Be proactively engaged in upselling and maximize sales opportunities in order to achieve individual sales target and KPIs
• Professionally handle phone calls and any customer service issues
• Handle each transaction professionally and in a friendly manner
• Assist customers in a timely, efficient and courteous manner
• Maintain the shop floor and visual display high standards, complying with the brand’s operational guidelines and merchandising procedures
• Return all merchandise to the right location after sales

Skills / Requirements

• B.Sc / HND Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or a related field
• Not less than 2 years’ relevant experience in a retail/commercial environment.
• Experience in fashion, selling across on-floor and digital channels is a key requirement.
• Working knowledge of the fashion industry
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
