Fashion illustrator/Designer at Rovedana

Salary Budget: 150,000 to 200,000 Naira Monthly Gross

Job Description:

We are looking to hire a Fashion Illustrator/Designer who is well experienced within the fashion designing space. The ideal candidate must be able to design both male and female pieces and are knowledgeable about streetwear.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Candidate will be working on creating different Styles, mostly for our everyday wear, you will need to design All Around prints, Center Prints, Ribbing Colors , Tie Dye & Dip Dye , multi color stripes designs, which will be used for Polos, Tees, Dresses.
• Create Styles & Amp; Designs for our Seasonal Collections, in accordance with our brands design aesthetic, and direction.
• Researching trends and performing market research that fit into brand strategy.
• Look into trends for the collection and create inspirational mood boards.
• Working on new fits and details development with the technical fit team.

Key requirements:

• Minimum of OND/HND/BSc qualifications in Fashion Designing, Creative Designing, Industrial Designing, etc…
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in fashion/illustration designing with a good portfolio of work to showcase for an interview.
• IT design skills in Illustrator / photoshop (CAD/ InDesign are a plus)
• Strong understanding of technical design packs or willingness to learn.
• Strong commercial awareness and a detailed understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and trends.
• Create clear, detailed functional and technical CAD’s.
• 3D design/animation and experience are a big plus.
• Hand sketching skills and can translate to screen graphics is a plus.
