Farm Supervisor (Poultry Production) at Regal Bablo Farms

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Farm Supervisor to oversee our poultry operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily farm activities, optimizing poultry production, and ensuring the implementation of best practices in poultry management. This role requires exceptional leadership, technical expertise in poultry farming, and strong people management skills. Feed mill experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Farm Management:

• Oversee all poultry farming operations, including breeding, feeding, health management, and biosecurity protocols.
• Develop and implement production plans toptimize poultry growth rates and maximize output.
• Monitor and manage animal health, ensuring timely vaccination, medication, and disease control measures.
• Implement waste management strategies and maintain a clean and safe farm environment.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards for animal welfare and environmental sustainability.

People Management:

• Lead, train, and supervise a team of farm workers and support staff.
• Develop and implement employee training programs timprove productivity and operational efficiency.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and safety within the workforce.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback tteam members.

Operational Efficiency and Reporting:

• Develop and manage budgets for farm operations, monitoring costs and optimizing resource allocation.
• Analyze production data and key performance indicators tidentify areas for process improvement.
• Generate regular reports on farm performance, animal health, and production output for senior management.

Health and Safety Compliance:

• Ensure strict adherence tsafety protocols in all farm operations.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and implement corrective actions taddress safety hazards.
• Conduct regular safety training sessions and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Farm Management, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in poultry production, animal health management, and farm operations.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in supervising diverse teams.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in farm management software and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of biosecurity protocols, animal welfare regulations, and health and safety standards.
• Feed mill experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in poultry health management or agricultural operations.
• Experience in budgeting and financial management.
• Knowledge of sustainable farming practices and waste management systems.
