Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Overseeing planting, fertilization, irrigation, pest control and harvesting processes.
• Developing and managing the farm’s budget, including forecasting costs and revenues.
• Ensuring optimal use of resources, such as land, labour, machinery and finances.
• Ensuring that farm buildings, machinery and equipment are well maintained and in good working condition.
• Training and supervising farm workers and other staff members.
• Organizing work schedules and assigning tasks to ensure efficient operation.
• Identifying and researching markets for farm products.

Education and Experience

• A Bachelor Degree or Higher National Diploma in Agriculture or related discipline from a reputable educational institution
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Integrated Farm Management
• Proven experience in managing teams of workers
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a diverse team
• Strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges and emergencies
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Must think independently to make decisions under pressure.
