Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will (but not limited to):

• Provide supervision over broilers on the poultry on the farm
• Oversee staff to ensure the proper operations of equipment and production.
• Training other poultry assistant/ staff as well as maintain the operations budget.
• Meet agreed production target.
• Ensure minimal mortality rate.
• Monitor the production of quality, cost-efficient poultry using approved poultry husbandry practices.
• Oversee layer operations and all other functions required of a farm manager.
• Perform administrative duties preparing and maintaining reports in poultry/animal production, prepare and send in daily reports on farm operations, updating the software records.
• Monitor feed composition and feed of birds.
• Manage the team members

Requirement

• Degree in Agriculture or related.
• Minimum of 3years Management Experience in running a poultry of over 20,000 birds as well as English Language tutorship.
• Knowledge and Experience in the use of Farm management Software.
• Microsoft Office Programs especially Word and Excel.
