Job Description:

• We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Farm Manager to oversee our poultry and fish farming operations.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of our farms, ensuring the health, productivity, and profitability of our poultry and fish stocks. 

Key Responsibilities:

Farm Operations Management:

• Plan and execute daily farming activities, including feeding, watering, and health monitoring for poultry and fish.
• Ensure compliance with biosecurity and animal welfare standards.

Stock Management:

• Manage breeding programs to optimize stock quality and quantity.
• Maintain accurate records of stock performance and inventory.

Feed and Nutrition Management:

• Develop and implement feeding programs to maximize growth and productivity.
• Monitor feed quality and adjust rations as needed.

Financial Management:

• Prepare and manage budgets for farm operations.
• Monitor expenses and optimize costs.
• Ensure cost-effective resource utilization.

Team Leadership:

• Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Facility and Equipment Maintenance:

• Ensure proper maintenance of farm infrastructure and equipment.
• Coordinate repairs and upgrades as necessary.
• Implement safety protocols for equipment operation.

Environmental Compliance:

• Comply with environmental regulations related to waste management and water usage.
• Implement sustainable farming practices where applicable.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Animal Science, fishery, Agriculture, or related field.
• Proven experience in poultry and fish farming management.
• Strong knowledge of animal husbandry, nutrition, and health.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Familiarity with farm management software and recordkeeping.
• Problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mind-set.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
