    Factory Supervisor

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time, on-site Factory Supervisor role based in Lagos.
    • The Factory Supervisor oversees daily manufacturing operations on the production floor, ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards.
    • Responsibilities include assigning and monitoring work, coordinating production schedules, and ensuring machinery and equipment are properly used and maintained.
    • The role also involves enforcing health, safety, and environmental policies, resolving operational issues in real time, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
    • The Factory Supervisor will train, guide, and evaluate production team members, maintain accurate production records, and collaborate with management, maintenance, and quality teams to support sustainable packaging goals.

    Qualifications

    • Strong production and operations skills, including Production Planning, Production Management, and Operations Management.
    • Solid manufacturing expertise, with experience in Manufacturing Operations and shop-floor coordination.
    • Proficiency in Quality Control practices, including monitoring processes, inspecting output, and supporting corrective actions.
    • Proven ability to lead and supervise factory teams, with effective people management, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
    • Good understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in a manufacturing environment.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
    • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
    • Relevant technical or engineering qualification (e.g., diploma or degree in Engineering, Industrial Production, or related field); prior experience in packaging or similar manufacturing is an advantage.
