Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to organize, coordinate, and oversee activities of the Production Unit in the manufacturing and packaging of our cosmetics products. You will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of output. You will also be in charge of the overall quality control in the factory.

We expect you to have deep know-how in production procedures. The ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader. The goal is to ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer requirements. The emphasis is on managing numerous operational activities to ensure the production floor is working in a balanced and productive fashion with respect to operational and service goals. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Correctly following standard formulation sheets and processes for different production activities.
• Using strong organizational skills to oversee production prepping and clean up finished product packaging, and labeling.
• Organizing daily tasks according to the Production Schedule.
• Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.
• Supervise and evaluate the performance of production personnel.
• Maintain a working knowledge of cosmetic regulations for cosmetics/active ingredient regulations.
• Manage and control the production process according to the production method of the product to ensure the quality of the product as specified in the product standard. as well as minimizing the loss in the production process.
• Manage the machinery/equipment used in the production department to be ready for use and accurate. It must also be safe to use.
• Supervising inspectors, technicians, and other staff members and providing guidance.
• Fix various problems in the production process and optimize the production process with regard to quality and safety as important.
• Guide the production team about the quality control issues to enhance the quality of the product
• Prepare work practices that are accurate and appropriate according to the company’s policy.
• Schedule equipment maintenance and inspection on regular basis.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance production quality and capacity.
• Determine equipment, material, and manpower requirements for project execution.
• Develop project budget and maintain expenses within the budget.
• Recommend cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality standards.
• Monitor production activities and adjust schedules for on-time delivery.
• Ensure that the final product meets quality standards and customer specifications.
• Ensure that the team follows company policies and safety standards.
• Maintain all necessary records relating to quality assurance, production, consumption, and stocks.
• Carry out and be responsible for other duties. related to the administration as assigned by the management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B. Sc/M.sc in Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry or related disciplines.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Honesty, Integrity & Reliability.
• Must demonstrate strong attention to detail.
• Minimum of 10 years in the cosmetic industry
• Knowledge of distribution operating systems and all aspects of warehouse, production, logistics, and transportation-related activities.
• Must be flexible and adaptive to respond to a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks against competing priorities.
• Must have the ability to set up a new cosmetic factory and run it successfully.
• Must have good knowledge of planning & developing products.
• Must have knowledge of cosmetics (skincare product) formulation/raw materials.
• Must be able to work independently and in a group setting.
• Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
• Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
• Experience in reporting on key production metrics
