Factory Manager (Manufacturing) at SENCE Nigeria

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the factory floor, including production lines, staff, and equipment.
• Develop and implement production schedules that meet customer deadlines and optimize resource utilization.
• Oversee quality control procedures and ensure all manufactured cables meet industry standards and customer specifications.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase production efficiency and reduce waste.
• Manage and maintain production equipment, including scheduling preventive maintenance and troubleshooting issues.
• Lead and motivate a team of production staff, fostering a safe and productive work environment.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities for staff.
• Monitor production data and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare production reports and present findings to senior management.
• Collaborate with purchasing to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
• Liaise with other departments, such as engineering and sales, to ensure smooth production flow.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a factory management role, ideally within the cable manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of cable manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and quality control procedures.
• Proven ability to develop and implement production schedules that meet deadlines and production goals.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to motivate and engage a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve production issues.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and production planning software (a plus)
