As a FACS (Field Automation and Control Systems) Field Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for field automation and control systems in the Flow-station.
Lead the installation, configuration, and commissioning of Field Automation and Control Systems (FACS) on the field.
Plan and execute system upgrades, including hardware replacements, software updates, and configuration changes, to enhance system capabilities.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, HMI (Human-Machine Interface), and other related equipment.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in field support engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
Proven experience with PLC, SCADA, HMI, and other automation systems.
Experience in system installation, configuration, and commissioning in a field environment.
Strong understanding of automation and control systems, including PLCs, SCADA, HMI, and instrumentation.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a field setting.
