Facility Officer at Halifield Schools

• Halifield Schools is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced Facility Officer to oversee the maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of the school’s facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of school buildings, equipment, and facilities.
• Coordinate and supervise artisans, contractors, and service providers.
• Conduct routine facility inspections and ensure prompt resolution of maintenance issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Monitor utility usage and facility-related expenses.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and asset inventory.
• Ensure the school environment is clean, safe, and conducive for learning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Engineering, Facilities Management, Estate Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years relevant experience in facility management.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance systems and preventive maintenance.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with minimal supervision.
• Previous experience in a school environment is an added advantage.
