Qualification/Experience

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering  or related discipline
• Must be able to pass an aptitude and practical tests
• Minimum of 4years of progressive experience in Maintenance roles in a manufacturing setting
• Strong technical acumen and hardworking
• Must be able to work in Ondo State
• Demonstrative ability to follow instructions
• Good communication, problem solving and supervisory skills
• High sense of responsibility and accountability
• High integrity and ethical standards
• History of stable employment
• History of professional accomplishments
• Credible and positive references, which will be independently verified
• Must have a guarantor for one-month compensation

Key responsibilities

• Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed
• Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders
• Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff
• Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions
• Collaborating with building owners and upper management on budgeting for facilities needs
• Planning and coordinating all installations and refurbishments
• Managing the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
• Conduct routine inspection of all facilities and infrastructure to ascertain their state and working conditions
• Oversee the execution of all routine maintenance, renovations and refurbishment works and activities for OWPPiN
• Ensure timely and adequate repairs and maintenance of all faulty equipment and facilities
• Oversee the management and coordination of the activities of outsourced staff (cleaners, gardeners, artisans etc.)
• Track global and local leading practices in facilities management and proffer relevant recommendations to the CFO
