    Fabrication Manager (3 Wheeler Automobile)

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a highly experienced and process-driven Automobile Fabrication Manager to lead the end-to-end fabrication and body-building operations for our Three-Wheeler (3W) product line.
    • The ideal candidate will have a solid background in automotive fabrication, sheet metal forming, welding processes, jig & fixture design, and will ensure high-quality output through strong leadership, planning, and process optimization.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or related discipline.
    • 6–10 years of relevant experience in fabrication & body shop operations, ideally in a 3-wheeler or light commercial vehicle segment.
    • Strong technical knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, welding processes, robotic welding (preferred), and structural assembly.
    • Experience with fabrication CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and familiarity with ERP and MES systems.
    • Proven leadership, team management, and communication skills.
    • Familiarity with quality assurance tools like FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), PPAP.

    Preferred Candidate:

    • Experience with 3-wheeler chassis or composite body manufacturing.
    • Certifications in Welding Inspection, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt).
    • Hands-on experience in setting up new fabrication lines or automation cells.
