    Explosive Ordinance Risk Education (EORE) Assistant

    Job Responsibilities

    • Assist the EORE officer in planning, executive, and monitoring EORE activities, ensuring alignment with national mine action standards and CATAI standard operating procedures.
    • Assist in data collection supervision for community-level survey activities, facilitating baseline/end-line data collection, and conducting knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) surveys.
    • Ensure the excellence of EORE sessions in communities through the application of CATAI Quality Assurance tools.
    • Conduct sensitization,awareness creation, and public information campaigns in coordination with the EORE team.
    • Attend and participate in relevant sector meetings, establish and maintain effective communication with the project partners, and engage in partner capacity assessments,
    • Maintain accurate records of project activities and output, ensuring the project monitoring database is consistently updated in accordance with CATAI procedures and any challenge with the line manager.
    • Promptly and timely submit reports to the line manager.
    • Prepare success stories and lessons learned for implemented activities.
    • Undertake any additional responsibilities by the line Manager.

    Requirements

    Job Essential:

    • 2 years of experience in EORE activities and.
    • Experience working with children, adolescents, and adult audiences.
    • Languages: fluent in the community's local languages, with an advanced level of English
    • Computer literacy: advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
    • Good communication skills
