Experienced Truck Driver at The Large House

Responsibilities

• Responsible for driving trucks or vans to transport materials and products to and from specified destinations.
• Responsible for making deliveries and ensuring that all products that leave the warehouse are in good condition.
• Ensure products are delivered promptly.
• Keep vehicle organized, clean and tidy.
• Ensure inventory stock matches delivery requirements.
• Maintain truck to ensure it remains in good driving condition.
• Ability to complete overnight travel to meet delivery requirements.
• Handles product properly and reports damage to Operations Manager.
• Complete daily maintenance checks on the delivery van and notify the Manager of any issues.
• Complete documentation such as logs, mileage reports.
• Follow all state and national safety regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of professional truck driving experience.
• Valid and up-to-date driver’s license
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and routes
• Must be physically fit and able to lift or move heavy items when required.
• Ability to read and understand delivery documents, instructions and maps.
• Must have no history of traffic violations or substance abuse.

• Ability to work flexible hours or long-distance trips when needed.
