Experienced Infrastructure Engineer at Meed Networks

The Role:

• The role involves working with clients on a variety of design projects ranging from network infrastructure, security solutions, voice networks, video conferencing, surveillance, cloud services, optical Fiber networks, structured cabling, data center, access control systems, biometric solutions, ELV systems, backup power solutions etc. 
• Also involves every stage of our network solution from planning, design, implementation to project management and post-deployment support. Requires troubleshooting, analyzing data, and running field operations.

The Person:

• An Infrastructure Engineer with 4-6 years post NYSC experience within a similar role and will be educated to a degree level with specific experience in the areas listed below.
• Must be able to define, order and monitor installation and Integration of hardware systems which includes Routers, Switches, Servers, End points and Power systems.
• Must have knowledge and be able to manage LANs, WANs, TCP/IP, VPNs, and VoIP and ensure only best practices are used to protect Network.
• Lead the design and modernization of all networks and infrastructure.
• Must be able to provide expert guidance and troubleshooting capabilities during complex issues.
• Must be able to work on complex, high-profile technical projects in private and hybrid cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize solutions deployed.
• Audit Clients network and develop reports.
• Ability to transfer clients’ needs into a solution.
• Multi-vendor design approach to solution.
• AutoCAD knowledge or other Networking drawing application
• “Can-do attitude” and willingness to engage in new technologies.
• Excellent technical and good communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and meticulousness.
• Good understanding and mastery of technology.
• Relevant professional certification is an advantage e.g., CCNA, CCNP or Equivalent, CFOT, CONA.
• Project Management Experience
• A valid driver’s license and ability to drive is an advantage.
