Who we are looking for?

Our client is looking for an experienced Front End Developer with a fantastic track record. As a Front End developer, you will have a keen eye for design and be responsible for ensuring the alignment of web design and user experience requirements, which shall include optimising web pages for maximum efficiency and maintaining brand consistency across all web pages, among other related duties as assigned. You are also required to work in teams alongside back end developers, graphic designers and UI/UX designers to ensure all elements of web creation are consistent. This role requires excellent communication as well as good interpersonal skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSILITIES

• Determine the structure and design of web pages.
• Translate UI designs and concepts into reality.
• Ensure user experience determines design choices.
• Develop features to enhance the user experience.
• Strike a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
• Ensure web design is optimised for smartphones.
• Build reusable code for future use.
• Help Back End developers with coding and troubleshooting.
• Optimise web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
• Utilise a variety of mark-up languages to write web pages.
• Maintain brand consistency throughout the design.
• User acceptance testing.
• Unit Testing.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 4 years relevant work experience working as a Front End Developer.
• Hands on experience working with HTML, CSS, Typescript, React, jQuery, JavaScript and Next.js.
• Experience in securely scaling production software to support rapid growth.
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
• An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Degree in Computer Sciences (optional)
