Executive Driver at Tranquil & Quest Medical and Diagnostics Limited

Job Summary:

• The Executive Driver is responsible for providing safe, punctual, and confidential transportation services to the hospital's executive team. This role requires high standards of professionalism, discretion, and a strong knowledge of road safety and traffic laws. The Executive Driver ensures that hospital executives are transported efficiently and reliably to meetings, official events, and other engagements, while maintaining the assigned vehicle in pristine condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely drive senior executives, and designated hospital staff to and from appointments, meetings, events, and official trips.
• Maintain high levels of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Conduct daily inspection of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness (oil, brakes, tires, lights, wipers, fuel, etc.).
• Schedule regular vehicle maintenance and promptly report mechanical issues.
• Ensure vehicles are kept clean, tidy, and in good working condition inside and out.
• Plan routes in advance, considering weather and traffic conditions to ensure timely arrivals.
• Keep a daily log of driving activities and fuel usage.
• Assist executives with loading and unloading luggage or hospital materials as required.
• Comply with all traffic laws and regulations to ensure passenger safety.
• Perform errands or special assignments as directed by management.
• Maintain good grooming, personal hygiene, and wear appropriate attire while on duty.
• Display courteous conduct towards hospital staff, patients, and the general public.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum of SSCE / OND or equivalent.
• Valid Nigerian driver’s license and LASDRI.
• Minimum of 3 years’ driving experience, with at least 2 years as an executive or corporate driver.
• Clean driving record with a strong knowledge of Lagos roads and interstate routes.
• Must be physically fit and mentally alert.
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and good time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle troubleshooting and emergency response procedures.
