We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, and presentation, as well as managing kitchen operations and staff.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and innovative cuisine, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
Plan and prepare menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services
Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation
Oversee food preparation, presentation, and plating
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients and supplies
Collaborate with the restaurant manager to achieve sales and revenue goals
Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Ensure timely and efficient service delivery
Monitor and control food costs and labor costs
Participate in marketing and promotional activities as required
Requirements
Culinary Degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
Proven track record of success in a high-volume kitchen
Excellent leadership and management skills
Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cuisines
