The Inventory Manager is an ETG NIG and Beyond Beans employee whose main tasks are to ensure the interface between the central warehouses and the factories of ETG NIG exporters and partners. He/she EFFECTIVELY ENSURES the traceability of the beans from the entrance of the factory to the export and is the reporting point for these. Is in charge of ensuring these actions/activities for the various standards and for conventional cocoa.
Role and Responsibilities
Ensure a good reception of EUDR and certified cocoa at the factory/export warehouse
Regular visits to factories receiving EUDR and certified cocoa.
Retrieve documents from unloaded EUDR and certified trucks
Checking and making a daily report of the weights received by the factories
Make a monthly and end-of-campaign report of deliveries by switchboard, customer and partner
Fill in the MERGDATA platform and the Excel file with the information on deliveries
Ensure strict compliance with the EUDR and certified cocoa traceability procedure during unloading
Digital and physical archiving of EUDR and certified unloading documents
Ensure the physical separation of EUDR and certified cocoa within the export factories/warehouse
Link incoming export warehouse loads to BLs
Support the proper conduct of audits within the factories
Qualification
A well-motivated and proactive person.
Bachelors in Agronomy, Agricultural Sciences or equivalent. At least 2 years hands-on experience.
Position will be based in Lagos with actively going around our operations locations in Nigeria.
Eye for detail and accuracy.
Skills/Competencies
Good command of office pack (Word, Excel, Power Point) Knowledge of factory activities (mastery of the cocoa process would be an asset)
Attention to detail and strong numeracy skills
Have a B driving license
Ability to work under pressure, alone and/or in a team
