Escort Security Coordinator at Aldelia Limited

SERVICE PURPOSE

• This service is created to supervise the provision of escorts and security cover for personnel going from site to off- site location based on the available resources provided.

• Implementation of Site/Field security Plan in accordance with the Company Security Plan.
• Monitoring and checking of security escort operations, personnel, and equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / Activities

• Implement and exercise the OML58 Security Escort plan and standard operating procedures.
• Carry out bi-weekly security vehicles inspection to ensure that all anomalies are corrected.
• Supervision of the activities of Security escort personnel, provide instructions and follow up during and after completion of escort details.
• Maintain escort tasks database which forms the basis for allocation of resources, monitoring, and reporting.
• Monitor personnel movements and coordinate escort teams between project sites to ensure security of such journeys.
• Ensure that the GSF men on escort duties comply with the contents of Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights (VPSHR) as it concerns escort operations.
• Review the escort team’s activities log, escort logs to ensure accurate documentation and reporting daily.
• Coordinates all shuttle escorts between company locations and special travel plans for senior staff.
• Responsible to make quick decisions in the event of any security breach along company’s approved routes.
• The efficient management and supervision of escort duties.
• Ensure that all security systems & equipment on board the escort vehicles are properly maintained, and any problem reported to concerned party for rectification.
• Maintain records of all events/incidences occurring that are perceived to be significant in approved formats.
• Ensure that records of GSF deployments are made available to security hierarchy on daily basis.
• Timely collection, collation and dissemination of situation reports within Oml58 host communities to company staff on need-to-know basis.

Context and environment

• Oil and Gas facilities located Onshore with a strong Local context.
• High risk, hostile and volatile environment with unpredictable situations.
• These are complex environments with day-to-day interactions with host communities in which incidents of assets blockage, invasion, vandalism, and sabotages are very rampant.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Implementation of security escort plan and standard operating procedures within my AOR.
• Responsible for the supervision and deployment of security drivers and vehicles.
• Responsible for supervision of Escort detailing clerk.
• Effective management of all security and communication equipment’s in use within my sector.

Qualifications / experience required

• Industrial security experience.
•  Military / Police background is an added advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree
