Environmental Specialist at Ecoscape Limited

Job Summary

Responsible for performing skilled technical work that administers the use of company’s technology in wastewater treatment plants and other waste facilities. Ensures compliance with City, State, and Federal regulations. Assists in the administration of all pretreatment, treatment, monitoring of client facility and regulatory compliance as required. Assists with other tasks but not limited to, environmental remediation effort, client training and education, and response to client concerns.

Job Description

• Knowledge of and skilled at proficient wastewater testing and treatment techniques.
• Ability to analyze procedures as it pertains to various wastewater and solid waste facilities.
• Ability to use a variety of office equipment and related applications.
• Ability to perform general math calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Responsible for drafting permit and all supporting documents for review by senior management
• Assess Client facility fact sheet, questionnaire, and work to propose appropriate solutions to the issues.
• Provides operational and regulatory support as needed
• Demonstrate sound judgement and decisions must be accurate to ensure safety of employees and the public.

Experience

• Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Microbiology, industrial chemistry or Environmental Science.
• Five years of directly related experience.

Knowledge of air and water pollution.
