Job Description

• We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced English language tutor to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching English, a strong understanding of the IELTS exam format, and the ability to create engaging and effective learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver comprehensive IELTS preparation courses, focusing on all four skills: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
• Create engaging and effective lesson plans, exercises, and practice materials tailored to the specific needs of IELTS students.
• Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to help students identify their strengths and weaknesses.
• Offer personalized one-on-one tutoring sessions to address individual student needs and goals.
• Administer and analyze mock IELTS exams to simulate real-world test conditions and provide valuable practice.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to students throughout their IELTS preparation journey.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest IELTS trends, exam formats, and best practices in English language teaching.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree in English Language Teaching, Linguistics, or a related field.
• A high IELTS score (preferably Band 7 or above) to demonstrate proficiency in the language.
• Proven experience in teaching English, particularly to adult learners.
• In-depth knowledge of the IELTS exam format, question types, and marking criteria.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information and instructions.
• The ability to build rapport with students, create a positive learning environment, and motivate them to achieve their goals.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate student schedules.
• The ability to understand and respond to the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
• Ability to work remotely with little or no supervision.
