Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Teach a range of college-level English courses including composition, literature, and academic writing.
• Develop engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum objectives and promote critical thinking.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, presentations, and exams.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to support student learning.
• Mentor and advise students on academic-related matters.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Ed or BA) in English, Literature, Rhetoric, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the Secondary level.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Demonstrated ability to teach and connect with a diverse student population.
• Familiarity with current pedagogical best practices and digital teaching tools.
