English Language Teacher at Blooming Heritage Schools

Job Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• At least five (5) years of proven experience teaching English at the secondary school level.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Ability to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for teaching and commitment to students’ academic and personal growth.
• A collaborative team player who is willing to learn, unlearn, and relearn.
• Certification in teaching or education-related qualifications is an advantage( TRCN)
• Prior experience in teaching English at a primary or secondary school level is preferred
• Patience, adaptability, and a passion for education

Responsibilities:

• Teach English Language and Literature effectively to secondary school students.
• Develop lesson plans, assessment materials, and termly reports.
• Support students’ learning using creative, student-centred approaches.
• Participate actively in school meetings, events, and professional development programmes.
• Maintain a positive, conducive, and well-structured learning environment.
