Engineering Manager at Furex Technologies

Job Summary

• The Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing software developers, improving software performance and security, ensuring the smooth delivery of each part of the product feature from ideation to go-to-market and document processes and integration.
• Someone with a deep interest and experience in Crypto/Web 3 who has a history of building successful products and managing high performing engineering teams

Objectives of this Role

• Responsible for the entire project delivery using all resources available and managing the engineering team
• Identify, interview, and present good engineering candidates; ensuring roles are filled within timelines for the project

Responsibilities

• Create overall technology standards and practices and ensure adherence
• Lead the strategy for technology platforms, partnerships and external relationships
• Identify, compare, select and implement technology solutions to meet current and future needs
• Develop, track and control the development of operating and capital budgets for purchasing licenses
• Manage and optimize infrastructure assets to satisfy internal financial targets
• Consolidate our technology features and create plans for each
• Identify, compare, select and implement technology solutions to meet current and future needs
• Track, analyze and monitor technology performance metrics
• Develop and oversee all system design and changes in system architecture
• Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in the technology landscape
• Be responsible for the security of the product and ensure there is no security risk
• Work closely with Product Manager and CEO on new products and enhancements
• Ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.
• Oversee and support front-end and back-end development teams. Also involved with coding
• Monitor reliability and performance of all internal systems to suggest improvements
• Conduct interviews for new engineering hires and oversee their onboarding.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience in back-end and front-end development
• Good understanding of agile methodologies
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
• Experience creating value proposition definition, cost benefit analysis
• Embedded in the Bitcoin & Crypto ecosystems and is a thought leader in the evolution of consumer-facing crypto products
• Understanding technical aspects behind product feature and functionalities
• Detail-oriented.
