Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project plans, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Track project milestones and deliverables, making necessary adjustments to meet objectives.
• Oversee engineering teams, guiding to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Identify training needs, mentor team members, and facilitate professional growth.
• Make informed decisions on technology and methodologies to align with organizational goals.
• Review engineering outputs for technical accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Ensure alignment of engineering efforts with business objectives by maintaining effective communication with other departments.
• Implement maintenance schedules to maintain plant reliability, minimize downtime, and improve operational efficiency.
• Allocate maintenance tasks to specialists and ensure proper feedback.
• Ensure adequate stocking of spare parts, balancing the need for operational reliability while minimizing stock levels.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Professional Maintenance) and Zero Loss activities.
• Drive reduction of energy and maintenance costs within production lines.
• Maintain effective relationships with suppliers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
• Develop weekly maintenance and inspection schedules with OEMs, along with an Annual Planned Maintenance (APM) program.
• Ensure all employees adhere to safety, environmental, and quality procedures as part of the integrated management system.

Requirements

• HND/BSC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in canned milk processing and three-piece can manufacturing.
• Proven management or supervisory experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline-driven environment.
