ELV Solutions Architect at Pestra Limited

• Pestra Limited is seeking highly skilled ELV Solutions Architects to join our technical solutions team in Lagos and Abuja. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting integrated Extra-Low Voltage systems for commercial, government, industrial, and critical infrastructure projects.
• The role requires strong technical knowledge, solution design capability, vendor coordination experience, and the ability to translate client requirements into practical, scalable, and cost-effective ELV solutions.

Key Responsibilities

The ELV Solutions Architect will be responsible for:

• Designing complete ELV solutions for security, safety, ICT, and building technology projects.
• Preparing technical proposals, system architecture, BOQs, compliance documents
• Developing solutions for video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, fire alarm, public address, structured cabling, intercom, AV systems, BMS integration, data networks, and related ELV systems.
• Reviewing client requirements, tender documents, site information, and technical specifications.
• Conducting site surveys and producing technical reports, design recommendations, and implementation plans.
• Selecting appropriate technologies, products, and vendors for each project requirement.
• Preparing system block diagrams, single-line diagrams, network topology, rack layouts, and integration architecture.
• Supporting the sales and business development team with technical presentations and solution demonstrations.
• Ensuring solutions comply with relevant standards, safety requirements, and industry best practices.
• Supporting cost estimation, value engineering, and technical clarifications during project execution.
• Providing technical guidance to installation, commissioning, and support teams.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

• Minimum of B.Sc., B.Eng., HND, or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, ICT, or a related technical field.
• Professional certifications in relevant ELV, security, ICT, or networking technologies will be an advantage.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Bosch, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, or equivalent OEM certifications will be an added advantage.
• Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent will be an advantage.

Required Experience

The ideal candidate should have:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in ELV, security systems, ICT infrastructure, or systems integration.
• At least 2 years’ experience in solution design, presales engineering, technical proposal development, or systems architecture.
• Strong experience designing and specifying one or more of the following systems:
• CCTV and video management systems
• Access control systems
• Intrusion detection systems
• Fire alarm and life safety systems
• Public address and voice evacuation systems
• Structured cabling and data networks
• Intercom and communication systems
• AV and conference systems
• Building management systems
• Control room and command centre systems
• Perimeter security and surveillance systems
• Experience working on government, corporate, industrial, hospitality, residential estate, oil & gas, telecoms, or critical infrastructure projects.
• Experience preparing technical and commercial bid documents for tenders and proposals.
• Good understanding of IP networking, servers, storage, cybersecurity basics, and system integration principles.
