Electromechanical Technician at Scruples Resources

Main Functions

• Review assembly, disassembly, and test procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Configure and operate test stations, systems, and related equipment.
• Analyze environmental test data, identify equipment issues, and troubleshoot faults.
• Assist Engineering and Reliability teams with experiment setup and accurate recording of test results.
• Test, evaluate, maintain, and repair general-purpose test equipment as required.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to other technicians within areas of competence.
• Perform all activities in compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 3-year technical diploma, Associate Degree, or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–7 years of relevant electro-mechanical experience.
• Strong knowledge of electronic equipment maintenance.
• Advanced soldering and electro-mechanical assembly skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and parts lists.
• Proficiency in measurement and gauging equipment and processes.
• Experience using multimeters, megohmmeters, hi-pot testers, and other electrical test instruments.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
