Electrician (Plastics Industry) at Ascentech Services Limited

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Electrician to join our technical team in Ikeja. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the plastics manufacturing sector, specifically working with Injection Molding, Blow Molding, or Extrusion machines.
• You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex electrical faults, and executing installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Maintenance: Perform routine electrical maintenance on plastic processing machinery (Extruders, Injection machines, Chillers, and Blow Molding units).
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions, including issues with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), AC/DC drives, motors, and sensors.
• Control Systems: Read and interpret electrical blueprints, circuit diagrams, and ladder logic to identify and fix system failures.
• Heating & Calibration: Maintain and calibrate heating elements, thermocouples, and temperature controllers critical to plastic production.
• Power Distribution: Manage the factory’s power distribution boards, ensuring stable voltage and load balancing to prevent equipment damage.

Requirements & Qualification

• Education: OND / HND qualification in Electrical Engineering or Trade Test I, II, & III.
• Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience as an electrician strictly within a Plastic Manufacturing environment.

Salary
N250,000 Monthly.
