Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Technician to join our team. The Electrical Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and components to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with electrical systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and wiring in accordance with electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems using diagrams, schematics, and testing equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures as needed.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to identify and resolve system malfunctions.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
• Document all repairs, installations, and maintenance work for recordkeeping purposes.
• Provide recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements to improve efficiency.
• Monitor electrical inventory and ensure availability of necessary tools and components.
• Adhere to all company and industry safety protocols and standards.

Qualifications:

• ND, HND, BSC Electrical Engineering or related field
• At least 2 years’ experience as an electrical technician.
• Valid electrical technician license or certification
• Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, components, and wiring methods.
• Experience in industrial, commercial, or residential electrical installations is a plus.
