Electrical Technician (V) at Fort Knox Group

About the Role

• We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Electrical Technician (Level 5) to lead and manage electrical works across large-scale projects.
• The successful candidate will oversee installation, testing, maintenance, and supervision activities while ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.
• This senior-level role requires exceptional leadership, project management, and technical expertise, as well as the ability to coordinate multiple teams and interface with clients and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all electrical works on projects of varying sizes and complexities.
• Coordinate and supervise site teams to ensure efficient execution of electrical installations.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication.
• Take full responsibility for electrical testing, labeling, and commissioning activities.
• Manage safety, materials, and plant equipment across project sites.
• Maintain and update as-built drawings, fuse board charts, and system documentation.
• Report project variations, site changes, and updates to the Project Manager.
• Plan and coordinate material deliveries, manpower, and resource allocation.
• Ensure that all work complies with approved designs, specifications, and applicable standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Health, Safety & Environmental (OHSE) Responsibilities:

• Enforce compliance with company and statutory health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Identify and report potential hazards, unsafe acts, and near-miss incidents.
• Ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety signage.
• Participate in and lead incident investigations where required.
• Promote environmental sustainability through waste reduction and energy efficiency initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Technical Certificate, Trade Test, or OND in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in electrical installation, supervision, and project management.
• Proven track record of managing medium to large-scale electrical projects.
• Experience interfacing with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.

• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical drawings and as-built plans.
• Familiarity with electrical codes, testing standards, and commissioning processes.
