Electrical Technician at Ascentech Services Limited

Division: Operations & Maintenance (Power Plant)
Reports To: Power Plant Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain Gas Gensets to ensure continuous and efficient power generation.
• Carry out troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
• Support installation, calibration, and testing of power plant equipment.
• Ensure compliance with operational and safety standards at the power plant.
• Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance activities, and fault logs.
• Provide technical support during emergencies, outages, or breakdowns.
• Collaborate with mechanical operators to achieve plant performance goals.
• Report daily performance and technical issues to the Power Plant Manager.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in power plant operations and maintenance.
• Strong hands-on experience with Gas Gensets.
• Experience with Jenbacher Gas Genset is highly preferable.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair electrical faults under minimal supervision.
• HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• Working Conditions:

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive monthly salary of ₦170,000 – ₦200,000.
