Installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, including wiring, lighting systems, and electrical panels.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, appliances, and equipment
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to determine wiring layouts and installation procedures.
Maintain accurate records of electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Provide technical support and guidance to other technicians and colleagues to complete projects and resolve issues
Perform other functions as may be assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
Academic Qualification: Minimum of SSCE, NABTEB or OND
Other Qualification: Trade-test I, II & III or any other relevant qualification
Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years post-certification experience in a serviced environment providing electrical installation and maintenance practices
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge of HSE (Toolbox-talk, JHA, Risk assessment)
Experience operating electrical tools and equipment such as multimeters, wire strippers, and conduit benders, soldering and fault-testing equipment. Attention to detail and accuracy in performing electrical work.
