Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Engineering Technician, based in Ikeja. The technician will be responsible for installing, testing, diagnosing, and repairing UPS systems, AVRs, Energy Storage Systems, and related power systems. Daily tasks include troubleshooting technical issues, operating test equipment, performing precision soldering, and ensuring all equipment functions effectively. The role also requires maintaining compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

Ideal Candidate

• Electrical/Electronics Engineering background
• 2–5 years practical experience
• Hands-on with UPS, AVR, inverter, or industrial power systems
• Able to communicate professionally with clients
• Articulate and confident
• Good troubleshooting ability
• Calm under pressure
• Willing to travel for installations and support
• Computer literate and able to prepare basic reports

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in electrical systems
• Skilled in Soldering and handling small electrical components
• Strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering concepts and principles
• Experience in working with Electricity and related safety protocols
• Competency in using Test Equipment for diagnostics and maintenance tasks
• Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety guidelines
• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience in a technical or engineering role is an advantage
• Teamwork and problem-solving abilities are essential
