Electrical Engineer at Kontz Engineering Limited

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working with security systems including a broad spectrum of access control, intrusion and video surveillance systems.
• Experience working with IP and Analog security cameras, 
• Familiar with the installation of magnetic locks, door strikes, DVR’s and IP cameras.
• Able to program access control systems, DVR’s and IP cameras.
• Proven networking knowledge-protocols, hardware, switches, routers, firewalls, VLANs, and VPNs.
• Experience with MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Project and Other Microsoft products.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
• Must be able to work on ladders and man-lifts.
• Must be able to read technical documents, drawings and prints.
• Must be able to work flexible hours. Mostly day work. (Weekend may be needed occasionally.)
