    Electrical Engineer

    1. Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
    2. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the root cause of breakdown and correct the problems.
    3. Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair and ensure compliance with codes. 
    4. Perform duties such as maintaining records and files, preparing reports and ordering supplies and equipment through the plant engineer. 
    5. Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates from materials and services to the plant engineer
    6. Install and maintain wiring and lightning systems in compliance with state and national regulations on electrical code standards and maintain a high level of safety ethnics
    7. Ensure fire safety alarm systems are functional
    8. Monitor work done by outside contractors, adhere to regulatory code requirements and report to the plant engineer.
