The responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer are as follows;
Evaluate the efficiency of electrical systems, machinery, components and products.
Designing electrical systems for manufacturing equipment, including control systems, motor drives, and power distribution systems.
Developing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and specifications for equipment and systems.
Interpret design specifications and technical drawings.
Research/test manufacturing methods and materials.
Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to create technical plans.
Service and maintain electrical systems.
Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial and commercial, purposes.
Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.
Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.
Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and business requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps.
Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or business requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.
Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
Supervising or training project team members.
Estimating material, labour, or construction costs for budget preparation.
Maintaining electrical equipment.
Working with a variety of technicians and cross functional teams.
Ensuring that all electrical systems meet safety standards and regulations.
Troubleshooting electrical issues and implementing solutions to improve system performance.
Other duties assigned by your supervisor.
Requirements
Education: HND/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent in relevant field.
Experience in manufacturing especially within the cocoa industry, is highly preferred.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, control systems, and power distribution systems.
Familiarity with PLC programming and industrial automation systems is highly desirable.
