About the Role

• We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Electrical Designer to join our technical team.
• The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of hands-on experience in electrical design, drafting, and layout development for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
• The role requires strong technical knowledge, accuracy, and the ability to convert concepts into detailed electrical drawings that meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and review electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics using industry-standard software.
• Prepare electrical plans for lighting, power distribution, control panels, grounding systems, cable routing, and related components.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and construction teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Modify existing drawings based on feedback, site conditions, or regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all electrical designs comply with safety standards, building codes, and client specifications.
• Conduct site visits to gather information or verify as-built conditions when necessary.
• Maintain proper documentation and organize project files for easy reference.
• Provide technical support during installation or project execution stages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ proven experience as an Electrical Designer.
• Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and industry regulations.
• Excellent analytical, drafting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with power systems design, low-voltage systems, or renewable energy projects.
• Familiarity with project management tools and documentation.
• Ability to interpret architectural and mechanical drawings.

Salary Range
N250,000 - N400,000 Monthly.
