Job Summary

Movarsity Ltd is looking for a creative and detail-oriented eLearning Developer / Instructional Designer to design, develop, and implement engaging online learning experiences. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to create interactive, high-quality courses that align with Movarsity’s mission of delivering accessible and impactful education in data analysis and related fields.

Key Responsibilities

Course Design and Development:

• Design engaging instructional materials, including eLearning modules, video content, quizzes, and assessments.
• Create storyboards, course outlines, and scripts in collaboration with SMEs and course creators.
• Develop interactive learning activities using eLearning authoring tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms.
• Optimize courses for various devices, ensuring accessibility and responsiveness.

Multimedia Integration:

• Design and integrate multimedia elements such as graphics, animations, and videos to enhance learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with graphic designers, videographers, and voiceover artists to produce high-quality content.

Instructional Design Principles:

• Apply adult learning theories and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to create effective learning experiences.
• Analyze learner needs and develop customized solutions to meet specific training goals.

Learning Management System (LMS) Management:

• Upload and maintain courses on the Movarsity LMS, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Troubleshoot LMS-related issues and provide technical support to learners when needed.

Quality Assurance:

• Review course materials for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand standards.
• Conduct user testing to identify areas for improvement and implement feedback.

Research and Innovation:

• Stay updated with eLearning trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance Movarsity’s offerings.
• Recommend and implement innovative solutions to improve engagement and retention.

Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms.
• Experience with graphic and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Canva) is an added advantage.

Instructional Design Skills:

• Strong knowledge of instructional design models and adult learning theories.
• Ability to design interactive and engaging online learning experiences.

• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

Preferred Experience

• 0-2 years of experience in instructional design or eLearning development.
• Experience creating courses in data analysis or technical training is a plus.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
