Role Description

• This full-time, on-site role is for a High School Teacher specialising in Economics, based in Sango Ota. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards, using a variety of instructional strategies to support different learning styles. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, managing classroom behavior, assessing learner performance, and providing constructive feedback. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, participating in school meetings and professional development activities, and collaborating with colleagues and guardians to support learner progress. The teacher is expected to promote a safe, inclusive learning environment and encourage learners’ interest in scientific or economic concepts depending on field.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Education skills, with experience at the high school level.
• Candidates should possess Lesson Planning and classroom management skills to design and deliver effective instruction.
• Candidates should possess Physics and related science knowledge, with a solid foundation in Chemistry.
• Candidates should possess clear Communication skills for engaging learners, colleagues, and guardians.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Education, Chemistry or Economics, or a related field.
• Teaching certification or licensure, Bachelor in Education, PGDE and registration/membership of TRCN.
• Ability to use basic educational technology and digital tools to support learning.
• Demonstrated commitment to learner-centered teaching, inclusivity, and continuous professional growth.
