    Early Years Teacher (Creche)

    Job Summary

    • We are looking to hire an early years teacher whose duty will revolve around nurturing and teaching pupils of ages 0 to 2 years using the EYFS curriculum.

    Education and Work Experience

    • Minimum of National Certificate in Education (NCE)
    • First Degree in any relevant field
    • Job Specific certification/Teaching Qualification/PGDE/PDCE/ Masters is an advantange
    • Five Years teaching experience ( three of which must be with a bench marked school working with a similar curriculum)
    • Training in EYFS and Jolly Phonics
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in teaching/Caring at the preschool level

    Role

    • Plan and carry out activities in line with the requirement of the EYFS curriculum.
    • Develop a work scheme and lesson plan to motivate pupils to learn
    • Be a positive role model and consistently demonstrate the positive behaviour, attitude, and values that are expected of pupils
    • Build and maintain relationships with parents and guardians to further support pupils.
    • Set clear and challenging EYFS targets, and use a variety of appropriate resources to improve pupils' learning
    • Assist with the development of pupils’ personal, social, and language development.
    • Encourage children’s mathematical and creative development through stories, songs, games, drawing, and imaginative play.
    • Develop pupils’ curiosity and knowledge.
    • Keep all records and data on pupils’ progress.
    • Ensure that the health and safety of each child are maintained during all activities in and out of class.
    • Work as a team with colleagues to ensure that all pupils are tidy and pupils' things are organized at the point of departure from school.
